HOW IT WORKS

1. Download an entry form from here or email us: smokefreepacificabeats@ypt.org.nz.

2. Fill out the entry form.   All of it. Then get it to us at 2 weeks before your local event. Or else. Remember: you may enter in ONE BAND ONLY for Smokefree Pacifica Beats.

3. You and your crew write a couple of original songs that fit the cultural criteria and practice till you can’t take it anymore. Then practice a little more.

4. Standby for a letter and posters from us with more details about your regional event and then tell EVERYONE you know about it coz it sucks playing to an empty room.

5. Perform the set of your life at your regional event, as long as it’s no longer than seven minutes.

6. If you place in the Top 2 at your event, you automatically go into selection pool for Top6, aka, National Finalists. You don’t have to do ANYTHING else after this. We will be in touch.

7. We will announce the Top6 on Monday 09 August, 2010 via our website: www.smokefreepacificabeats.co.nz and our bebo page: www.bebo.com/SFPB10

8. SFPB 2010 National Final is in Rotorua on Saturday 25 September, 2010. The Top6 will be competing for the National Title as well as a share in more than $25,000 worth of mean as prizes!
